There was an obvious influx of Thrushes around the Obs today but the highlight was the finding of a Firecrest late in the afternoon. It was feeding in Willows with a Tit flock showing on and off for 30 minutes before being lost.

Offshore 
1 Gannet west, 36 Common Scoters west, 12 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 4 Red-throated Divers west, 5 Great Crested Grebes west, 12 Kittiwakes west, 2 Little Gulls west, 1 Guillemot west, 4 Razorbills west and 45 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
14 Redwings south, 34 Fieldfares south, 121 Starlings south, 1 Rock Pipit west, 2 Meadow Pipits south, 6 Tree Sparrows south, 27 Chaffinch south and 1 Redpoll south.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Firecrest, 3 Goldcrests, 85 Blackbirds, 16 Song Thrushes, 32 Redwings and 1 Treecreeper.
