Another good visible migration day with a large movement of Woodpigeons, a party of Waxwings and a late Swallow through. There was another Thrush arrival today plus two confiding Short-eared Owls.

Offshore 
3 Scaup west, 25 Common Scoters west & 31 south, 2 Goldeneyes west, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 4 Red-throated Divers west & 2 south, 3 Great Crested Grebes west & 1 south, 1 Kittiwake west, 19 Little Gulls, 3 Guillemots west, 1 Razorbill west and 42 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
1 Swallow south, 2 Whooper Swans south, 3,480 Woodpigeons south-west, 10 Redwings east, 11 Skylarks south, 14 Waxwings south-west at 10:40, 125 Starlings south, 10 Meadow Pipits south, 3 Rock Pipits south, 183 Chaffinch south, 28 Bramblings south, 10 Greenfinch south, 12 Goldfinch south, 4 Siskins east & 3 south, 1 Linnet south and 2 Redpolls south.

 Grounded Migrants
1 Woodcock, 1 new Short-eared Owl, 90 Blackbirds, 2 Fieldfares, 15 Song Thrushes, 65 Redwings, 2 Goldcrest and 1 Twite.

800 Pink-footed Geese, 600 Teal, 2 Shovelers, 7 Goldeneyes, 18 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Little Egret, 36 Golden Plovers, 1,100 Knot, 17 Snipe, 220 Sanderlings, 50 Redshanks, 57 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Peregrine, 1 Merlin, 1 Short-eared Owl, 1 Barn Owl, 8 Rock Pipits, 2 Grey Wagtails and 200 Pied Wagtail roost.

Ringing
1 Blue Tit, 1 Great Tit, 2 Long-tailed Tits and 1 Goldfinch.
