The highlight of the day was the finding of a Firecrest feeding with a party of Long-tailed Tits in the early afternoon. Another highlight was two Black-throated Divers which drifted in on the late afternoon tide; the birds showed well on a very calm sea. Another Yellow-browed Warbler was found mid morning in the cemetery; it was seen and heard in the Sycamore belt along the west side before moving into the adjacent large gardens in the increasing easterly wind. Also the first Twite and Yellowhammer of the Autumn were recorded on vis.
