A Nuthatch was a surprise find today, a scarce bird here. Also new in was a Snow Bunting on the beach and a Black-throated Diver offshore.

Another good passage of Chaffinch this morning, but fewer Bramblings were involved.

Despite the strong southerly wind this morning there was a big movement of Bramblings and Chaffinches, but little else was involved. By mid-morning, in increasing winds, the birds were grounded in much of the cover along the coast.
