A light rain shower just before dawn dropped a few migrants in, mainly Wheatears but also the
first Grasshopper Warbler and Redstart of the year. There was a decent easterly movement of Finches
throughout the morning.

Offshore
6 Teals east, 26 Common Scoters east, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Red-throated Divers east, 2 Gannets east, 1 Arctic Skua east, 3 Razorbills east, 18 Sandwich Terns east and 5 Little Gulls east.

Visible Migration
4 Curlews east, 14 Sand Martins north-east, 11 Swallows north-east, 1 House Martin north-east, 1 Starling north, 9 Alba Wagtails north-east, 275 Meadow Pipits north-east, 2 Chaffinch east, 156 Linnets east, 14 Redpolls east, 132 Goldfinch east and 86 Siskins east.

Grounded Migrants
1 Goldcrest, 5 Chiffchaffs, 8 Willow Warblers, 5 Blackcaps, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Redstart, 34 Wheatears, 2 White Wagtails, 2 Lesser Redpolls and 7 Siskins.

1 Gadwall, 2 Goldeneyes, 2 Little Egrets, 61 Black-tailed Godwits, 170 Turnstones, 100 Knots, 6 Sand Martins and 28 Twite.

 Great Crested Grebe

Ringing
1 Robin, 1 House Sparrow, 1 Chaffinch, 3 Lesser Redpolls and 1 Goldfinch.
