A continuation of yesterday's Sand Martin movement was evident from dawn until mid-morning, then another pulse of birds through in the warmer afternoon temperatures produced an Obs record count of 556. Also of note was two Avocets found in the early evening.

2 Teal east, 21 Common Scoters east, 1 Red-breasted Merganser, 6 Red-throated Divers east, 3 Gannets east, 3 Arctic Skuas east, 17 Sandwich Terns east and 5 Arctic Terns east.

56 Pink-footed Geese north, 1 Osprey north at 09:05, 6 Whimbrels east, 3 Jackdaws north-east, 4 Rooks east, 7 Carrion Crows north-east, 556 Sand Martins east/north-east, 183 Swallows east/north-east, 16 House Martins east/north-east, 30 Alba Wagtails north-east, 13 Tree Pipits north-east, 328 Meadow Pipits north-east, 52 Linnets east, 15 Redpolls east, 23 Goldfinch east and 7 Siskins east.

2 Chiffchaffs, 50 Willow Warblers, 17 Blackcaps, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 2 Reed Warblers, 1 Redstart, 38 Wheatears, 6 White Wagtails and 1 Tree Pipit.

1 Little Egret, 2 Avocets, 63 Ringed Plovers, 2 Whimbrels, 9 Black-tailed Godwits, 136 Turnstones, 43 Sanderlings and 1 Common Sandpiper.
