Strong winds produced the first Leach`s Petrels of the Autumn . The first hour of
sea-watching was good but the wind veered more northerly and the birds dried up .

Offshore
3 Fulmar west, 5 Manx Shearwaters; 4 west & 1 on sea, 15 Gannets, 3 Leach`s Petrels west, 1 Pink-footed Goose west, 36 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-breasted Merganser west, 2 Red-throated Divers west, 4 Great Skuas west, 2 Arctic Skuas west, 8 Kittiwakes west, 2 Sandwich Terns west, 1 Arctic Tern west, 4 Guillemots west, 1 Razorbill west and  4 Auk sp west. Also 1 Atlantic Grey Seal.

Visible Migration
32 Pink-footed Geese south.

Grounded Migrants
2 Wheatears.

Others 
1 Little Egret, 55 Teal, 75 Sanderling, 1 Spotted Redshank, 16 Black-tailed Godwits, 5 Med. Gulls and 25 House Martins.
