A few notable sightings today. The Obs earliest ever Sand Martin flew through in the early afternoon and this was followed by of a pair of Bearded Tits in the dry reedbed north of the burglar's alley footpath. The Beardies were found in the late afternoon and viewable from the old railway line embankment.

Bearded Tit

Offshore 
2 Shelducks east, 3 Wigeons east, 16 Common Scoters west, 13 Red-breasted Mergansers and 2 Red-throated Divers west.

Visible Migration
5 Curlews east, 1 Skylark north-east, 1 Sand Martin east, 1 Tree Sparrow east, 6 Alba Wagtails north/north-east, 9 Alba Wagtails north, 7 Meadow Pipits north, 2 Chaffinch east, 1 Redpoll east and 28 Siskins east.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Robin and 6 Stonechats.

160 Wigeons, 4 Shovelers, 3 Goldeneyes, 1 Little Egret, 14 Ringed Plovers, 47 Golden Plovers, 245 Lapwings, 9 Black-tailed Godwits, 125 Turnstones, 83 Sanderlings, 220 Dunlins, 1 Spotted Redshank, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Merlin, 2 Bearded Tits and 5 Rock Pipits.
