There was an arrival of migrants this morning but the foggy conditions made viewing difficult. The main species involved was Goldcrest, but a few Thrushes were seen including a male Ring Ouzel found calling from a tree-top by IG`s house on the promenade!

2 Red-breasted Mergansers and 2 Sandwich Terns.

Visible Migration 
1 Little Ringed Plover - vocal bird came out of the fog and flew east, 7 Sand Martins north, 1 Swallow north, 14 Alba Wagtails north, 602 Meadow Pipits north, 3 Goldfinch east, 1 Siskin east and 3 Linnets east.

Grounded Migrants 
46 Goldcrests, 9 Chiffchaffs, 1 Ring Ouzel, 3 Fieldfares, 6 Redwings, 6 Wheatears, 2 White Wagtails, 555 Meadow Pipits and 1 Reed Bunting.

Others
2 Whooper Swans, 7 Goldeneyes, 1 Little Egret, 300 Knot, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 45 Dunlins, 7 Snipe, 155 Black-tailed Godwits, 12 Sand Martins and 2 Twite.
