A Black Guillemot offshore was a surprise, as the majority of our winter records come after gales.The bird flew west past the point and landed on the sea off the scar where it remained for the next 30 minutes before being lost.

Offshore 
2 Shelducks west, 39 Common Scoters west, 12 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Northern Diver west, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 1 Guillemot west,7 Auk sp. west 
and 1 Black Guillemot.

Others:
425 Wigeons, 400 Teal, 3 Little Egrets, 1 Merlin, 2 Water Rails, 750 Golden Plovers, 155 Grey Plovers, 2,000 Lapwings, 1,500 Knots, 500 Dunlins, 6 Snipe, 230 Black-tailed Godwits, 23 Bar-tailed Godwits, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Grey Wagtail, 6 Rock Pipits, 26 Goldfinch and 27 Twite.

Ringing
1 Blue Tit, 1 Goldfinch, 1 Greenfinch and 2 Reed Buntings.
