A light SE wind and rain first thing dropped a few new birds in today before the wind increased and veered SW. The highlights were a single Wood Sandpiper, a Wood Warbler and the first Spotted Flycatcher of the spring. Other new finds included single Yellow-legged and Glaucous Gulls, plus 4 Black Terns offshore.

36 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-throated Diver east, 4 Manx Shearwaters west, 52 Gannets west, 175 Knots west, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits west, 1 Great Skua west, 26 Kittiwakes west, 4 Black Terns west, 13 Arctic Terns west, 8 Sandwich Terns, 1 Guillemot west and 3 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
1 Common Sandpiper east, 46 Swallows north and 1 Redpoll east.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Whimbrel, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Wood Sandpiper, 26 Swifts, 50 House Martins, 1 Wood Warbler, 3 Willow Warblers, 1 Garden Warbler, 1 Spotted Flycatcher, 6 Wheatears, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 1 Tree Pipit and 2 Lesser Redpolls.

Others
16 Ringed Plovers, 500 Sanderlings, 400 Dunlins, 68 Turnstones, 1 Yellow-legged Gull, 1 2CY Glaucous Gull and 1 Cuckoo.
