A decent push of visible migration occurred this morning with the first numbers of Meadow Pipits and the continuing good numbers of Wagtails moving north.

Offshore 
2 Shelducks east, 12 Common Scoters west, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Red-throated Divers east and 1 Great Crested Grebe.

Visible Migration 
2 Bewick`s Swans east, 30 Whooper Swans north, 95 Pink-footed Geese north, 1 Merlin in-off, 53 Woodpigeons north, 12 Grey Wagtails east/north-east, 121 Alba Wagtails east/north-east, 268 Meadow Pipits east/north-east, 1 Fieldfare east, 6 Chaffinch east, 6 Goldfinch east/north-east, 17 Siskins east, 14 Linnets east and 1 Reed Bunting east.

Grounded Migrants 
6 Goldcrests, 14 Blackbirds, 3 Song Thrushes and 2 Redwings.

Others
1 Merlin, 1 Peregrine, 1 Water Rail, 3 Jack Snipes, 39 Snipe, 140 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Med. Gull, 4 Stock Doves, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 2 Stonechats and 1 Water Pipit.

Ringing 
2 Goldcrests.
