After a foggy, but relatively calm, start to the day the first Meadow Pipit and Greenfinches were ringed for the Autumn and after the weather cleared mid-morning Hirundines were again on the move. The star bird today was undoubtedly a superb juvenile Hobby which flew through in the afternoon.

11 Common Scoters west, 1 Gannet west, 68 Sandwich Terns and 1 Common Tern.

3 Grey Herons west, 1 juvenile Hobby south, 2 Sand Martins south, 819 Swallows south, 241 House Martins east, 22 Meadow Pipits south, 5 Grey Wagtails south, 13 Alba Wagtails south and 5 Greenfinches south.

Grounded Migrants 
3 Willow Warblers, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 5 Whitethroats, 2 Sedge Warblers, 5 Reed Warblers and 6 Wheatears.

Others
1 Peregrine, 67 Ringed Plovers, 63 Sanderlings, 1 Curlew Sandpiper, 120 Dunlins, 7 Black-tailed 
Godwits, 240 Turnstones and 1 Med. Gull.
 
Ringing
1 Meadow Pipit, 1 Dunnock, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Whitethroat 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 2 Reed Warblers, 1 Blue Tit, 1 Great Tit, 4 Greenfinches and 1 Goldfinch.
