A fall of Wheatears along the coast was the highlight today. An approaching rain band from the north-east hit the peninsular late morning and dropped 85 Wheatears in, but the afternoon was a wash out with persistent heavy rain.
 
 
 Wheatears

Offshore
12 Shelducks east, 7 Wigeon east, 160 Common Scoters west, 8 Eiders, 1 Great Crested Grebe west and 9 Sandwich Terns.

Visible Migration 
1 Merlin 'in-off', 5 Snipe east, 1 Sand Martin east, 48 Swallows east, 15 House Martins east, 1 Tree Pipit south, 31 Meadow Pipits east/south-east and 6 Alba Wagtails south.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Whitethroat, 85 Wheatears, 1 Whinchat and 19 Pied Wagtails.

56 Ringed Plovers, 70 Sanderlings, 1 Curlew Sandpiper and 160 Dunlins.
