South-easterly winds and light drizzle brought a small fall of migrants to the peninsular today. Visible highlights include a large movement of Hirundines first thing, and offshore a cracking summer plumaged Great Northern Diver stole the show.

Offshore
50 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 1 summer plumaged Great Northern Diver east at 07:40, 113 Manx Shearwaters east, 11 Gannets west, 1 Great crested Grebe, 2,500 Knots west, 3 Arctic Skuas east, 2 Kittiwakes east, 1 Little Gull east, 1 Black Tern east, 19 Sandwich Terns west, 1 Common Tern east, 96 Arctic Terns east, 4 Guillemots, 1 Razorbill and 4 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
3 Whimbrels east, 2 Swifts north-east, 11 Sand Martins north-east, 1,046 Swallows north-east, 44 House Martins north-east, 2 Alba Wagtails north-east, 3 Tree Pipits north-east, 28 Goldfinch east, 3 Linnets east and 34 Redpolls east.

Grounded Migrants
8 Whimbrels, 3 Common Sandpipers, 1 Cuckoo, 1 Chiffchaff, 35 Willow Warblers, 5 Blackcaps, 2 Garden Warblers, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 6 Whitethroats, 3 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 Redstart, 3 Whinchats, 16 Wheatears, 1 Pied Flycatcher, 3 Yellow Wagtails including a male 'Blue-headed' and 1 White Wagtail.

Others
43 Ringed Plovers, 68 Sanderlings, 350 Dunlins, 47 Turnstones and yesterday`s Short-eared Owl still present.
