After yesterday`s washout there was a small arrival of migrants today including 13 Spotted Flycatchers. Other highlights included a Hobby that went through during a big movement of Swallows.
 
 Spotted Flycatcher

Offshore
4 Shelducks east, 103 Common Scoters east, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers east, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 9 Gannets east, 3 Arctic Skuas east, 6 Sandwich Terns east, 2 Common Terns east, 2 Guillemots and 2 Razorbills.

Further observation during the evening produced 320 Common Scoters east, 1 Red-throated Diver east, 16 Manx Shearwaters west, 11 Gannets west, 4 Arctic Skuas east, 3 Kittiwakes west, 53 Sandwich Terns east, 4 Common Terns east and 4 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
1 Hobby east at 08:30, 1 Whimbrel east, 5 Swifts north-east, 1 Sand Martin north-east, 1,285 Swallows north-east, 58 House Martins north-east, 1 Yellow Wagtail east, 2 Alba Wagtails north-east, 2 Tree Pipits north-east, 6 Goldfinch east, 2 Siskins east, 3 Linnets east and 7 Redpolls east.

Grounded Migrants:
7 Willow Warblers, 3 Garden Warblers, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 8 Whitethroats, 5 Sedge Warblers, 2 Reed Warblers, 13 Spotted Flycatchers, 1 Redstart, 2 Whinchats, 19 Wheatears, 1 Yellow Wagtail, 3 White Wagtails and 7 Lesser Redpolls.
