A Puffin was seen offshore again today and it was unclear if its a new bird or the individual seen during the
week. New in today was the first Cuckoo of the spring.

Offshore
148 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 18 Red-throated Divers east, a Great  Crested Grebe east, 10 Manx Shearwaters, 45 Gannets, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 2 Arctic Skuas east, 30 Kittiwakes, 40 Sandwich Terns west, 1 Common Tern east, 3 Guillemots east and 6 on the sea, 5 Razorbills west and 3 on the sea, 1 Puffin on the sea with other Auks at 09:25 and 6 Auk sp. west. Also 1 Harbour Porpoise and 1 Atlantic Grey Seal.

Further observation during the evening produced 555 Common Scoters east, 1 Red-throated Diver east, 2 Gannets west, 68 Sandwich Terns east, 1 Guillemot and 1 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
6 Sand Martins north, 61 Swallows north, 2 House Martins north, 2 Alba Wagtails north, 3 Tree Pipits north, 3 Meadow Pipits north, 51 Goldfinch west, a Redpoll east, a Siskin east and 46 Linnets east.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Whimbrel, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Cuckoo, 2 Swifts, 5 Sand Martins, 1 Garden Warbler, 2 Reed Warblers, 2 Whinchats, 8 Wheatears, 3 Yellow Wagtails and 2 White Wagtails.

3 Teal, 1 Gadwall, 35 Ringed Plovers, 80 Sanderlings, 1,500 Dunlins, 980 Knots and 8 Black-tailed Godwits.
