A
Puffin was seen offshore again today and it was unclear if its a new bird or the
individual seen during the
week. New
in today was the first Cuckoo of the spring.

148 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 18 Red-throated Divers
east, a Great Crested Grebe east, 10
Manx Shearwaters, 45 Gannets, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 2 Arctic Skuas east, 30
Kittiwakes, 40
Sandwich Terns west, 1 Common Tern east, 3 Guillemots east and 6 on the sea, 5
Razorbills west and
3 on the sea, 1 Puffin on the sea with other Auks at 09:25 and 6 Auk sp. west.
Also 1 Harbour Porpoise
and 1 Atlantic Grey Seal.
Further observation during the evening produced 555 Common Scoters east, 1 Red-throated Diver east, 2 Gannets west, 68 Sandwich
Terns east, 1 Guillemot and 1 Auk sp. west.
