A decent migration day with the first Wheatear of the year arriving, the first migrant Chiffchaffs and some good 'vis' migration during the morning.

Chiffchaff

Offshore:
2 Tufted Ducks east, 16 Common Scoters west, 21 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Red-throated Divers east & 3 on the sea, 2 Razorbills west and 1 Guillemot west.

Visible Migration 
17 Pink-footed Geese north, 7 Curlews east, 52 Wood Pigeons east, 7 Jackdaws north-east, 2 Rooks east, 9 Carrion Crows north-east, 7 Skylarks north-east, 1 Tree Sparrow east, 6 Grey Wagtails east, 71 Alba Wagtails north, 206 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 2 Greenfinch east, 18 Goldfinch east, 7 Siskins
east and 7 Reed Buntings east.

Grounded Migrants
3 Goldcrests, 2 Chiffchaffs, 2 Song Thrushes, 9 Stonechats, 1 Wheatear and 2 Tree Sparrows.

83 Wigeons, 4 Gadwalls, 60 Teal, 2 Shovelers, 1 Goldeneye, 1 Little Egret, 1 Water Rail, 62 Lapwings, 22 Grey Plovers, 24 Ringed Plovers, 225 Black-tailed Godwits, 140 Turnstones, 60 Dunlins, 11 Snipe, 1 Cetti's Warbler and 1 Water Pipit.
