Offshore 
6 Wigeons west, 40 Common Scoters west, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 3 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Crested grebe east and 2 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
5 Tree Sparrows east, 1 Alba Wagtail south, 6 Meadow Pipits south, 1 Rock Pipit south, 4 Chaffinch south and 6 Goldfinch south.

Grounded Migrants 
6 Goldcrests, 1 Chiffchaff and 7 Redwings.

Others:
3000 Pink-footed Geese, 1 Barnacle Goose, 400 Wigeons, 225 Teal, 1 Pintail, 5 Little Egrets, 470 Lapwings, 9 Golden Plovers, 56 Ringed Plovers, 14 Black-tailed Godwits, 170 Turnstones, 125 Sanderlings, 120 Dunlins, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 11 Snipe, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Cettis Warbler and 2 Stonechats.

Ringing
The Google Earth image below shows the movement of a Reed Warbler ringed at the Obs on 5th August 2017 and controlled (recaptured by another ringer) on 28th August 2017 in Wiltshire. This was a movement of 305 km in a SSE direction. This was likely a brief stopover, before refueling for a longer hop on the south coast.
