Unseasonally gales force winds and heavy rain produced some good seawatching today. The highlight was a very close in Sooty Shearwater which flew slowly west along the promenade at 10:38. It came so close IG lost it behind the Marine Lake embankment !

27 Common Scoters west, 11 Fulmar west, 86 Manx Shearwaters west, 1 Sooty Shearwater west, 164 Gannets west, 1 Arctic Skua west, 1 Great Skua west, 1 Guillemot west, 10 Sandwich Tern west and 8 Kittiwakes west.
