The first Sandwich Tern and Swallow of the year flew through today.

Offshore 
2 Shelducks east, 33 Common Scoters east, 2 Goosanders east, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers, 9 Red-throated Divers east, 1 Auk sp. west and 1 Sandwich Tern east.

Visible Migration 
12 Whooper Swans north, 1 Buzzard north-east, 11 Wood Pigeons east, 6 Jackdaws east, 4 Carrion Crows north-east, 11 Sand Martins north, 1 Swallow north, 2 Tree Sparrows east, 12 Alba Wagtails north, 89 Meadow Pipits north, 10 Linnets east, 6 Redpolls east, 11 Goldfinch east and 5 Siskins east.

Grounded Migrants 
4 Goldcrests, 11 Chiffchaffs, 5 Wheatears and 3 Lesser Redpolls.

Others
6 Goldeneyes, 33 Grey Plovers, 21 Ringed Plovers, 350 Black-tailed Godwits, 135 Turnstones, 500 Knots, 55 Sanderlings, 120 Dunlins and 1 Glaucous Gull.
