The third Siberian Chiffchaff of the Autumn was found today. It was heard calling near one of our feeding stations and watched feeding with a collybita Chiffchaff which had been present for about a week. The bird is in an area with no public access.

Offshore
41 Common Scoters west, 16 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Red-throated Divers, 2 Great Crested Grebes and 1 Guillemot.

800 Pink-footed Geese, 425 Wigeons, 2 Gadwalls, 750 Teal, 4 Goldeneyes, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers,1 Bittern, 2 Little Egrets, 3 Water Rails, 40 Golden Plovers, 750 Lapwings, 6 Black-tailed Godwits, 175 Turnstones, 300 Dunlins, 1 Woodcock, 7 Snipe, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Long-eared Owl, 1 Merlin, 4 Bearded Tits, 3 Cetti's Warblers, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Stonechats and 4 Rock Pipits.
