There was a small arrival of birds today including the first Swallow and Willow Warbler of the year, plus two Velvet Scoters offshore.

Swallow

Offshore 
82 Common Scoters west, 2 Velvet Scoters west, 6 Red-breasted Mergansers east, 6 Red-throated Divers east and 1 Guillemot west.

Visible Migration 
17 Wood Pigeons east, 14 Carrion Crows north-east, 4 Sand Martins north-east, 14 Alba Wagtails north, 338 Meadow Pipits north, 4 Chaffinch east, 5 Goldfinch east, 16 Siskins east, 7 Linnets east and 1 Reed
Bunting east.

Grounded Migrants 
13 Goldcrests, 9 Chiffchaffs, 1 Willow Warbler, 7 Stonechats, 10 Wheatears and 1 White Wagtail.
 
 Stonechats

Others
2 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Little Egret, 600 Knot, 55 Sanderlings, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 45 Dunlins, 136 Black-tailed Godwits, 140 Turnstones, 1 Swallow and 1 Cetti's Warbler.

Ringing 
2 Goldcrests and 4 Chiffchaffs.
