A good migration day with the first Arctic Skua and Sandwich Tern of the year recorded offshore.There was a good count of Meadow Pipits moving north and the first White Wagtail of the spring was seen.

Offshore
53 Common Scoters west, 18 Red-breasted Mergansers, 21 Red-throated Divers east, 31 Gannets west, 3 Great Crested Grebes east, 1 Arctic Skua east, 69 Kittiwakes east, 3 Little Gulls east, 1 Sandwich Tern east and 2 Guillemots east.

Visible Migration 
1 Kestrel north, 1 Buzzard north-east, 7 Curlews northeast, 6 Wood Pigeons east, 7 Collared Doves east, 4 Magpies east, 23 Carrion Crows north-east, 2 Skylarks north, 2 Grey Wagtails north, 67 Alba Wagtails north, 1307 Meadow Pipits north, 4 Chaffinch east, 2 Greenfinches north, 18 Goldfinch east, 17 Siskins east, 17 Linnets east and 2 Reed Buntings east.

Grounded Migrants
8 Goldcrests, 1 Chiffchaff, 2 Stonechats, 3 Wheatears and 1 White Wagtail.

3 Shovelers, 1 Goldeneye, 1 Little Egret, 22 Ringed Plovers, 38 Golden Plovers, 500 Knot, 65 Sanderlings, 2 Jack Snipes, 11 Snipe, 230 Black-tailed Godwits, 160 Turnstones, 6 Sand Martins and 3 Stonechats.

Ringing
1 Long-tailed Tit, 1 Blue Tit, 5 Meadow Pipits and 1 Greenfinch.
