There was a decent movement of wildfowl offshore this morning and the wintering Firecrest was seen again during the afternoon. Greenshank are rare here in winter so a count of four today was unprecedented.

2 Wigeons west, 111 Teal west, 28 Pintails west, 11 Shovelers west, 1 Scaup west, 22 Common Scoters west, 2 Goldeneyes west, 5 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 3 Red-throated Divers west, 2 Great Crested Grebes west, 34 Kittiwakes west, 2 Little Gulls west, 1 Guillemot west and 4 Auk sp. west.

9 Goldeneyes, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers, 1 Little Egret,1 Peregrine, 52 Ringed Plovers, 1000 Lapwings, 200 Sanderlings, 2 Purple Sandpipers, 300 Dunlins, 17 Snipe, 48 Black-tailed Godwits, 4 Greenshanks, 225 Turnstones, 2 Stock Doves, 1 Firecrest, 1 Cetti's Warbler, 1 Water Pipit and 36 Twite.
