A Great White Egret was briefly on the water meadows this afternoon before flying onto the marsh and another Yellow-browed Warbler was seen with a Tit flock in the cemetery this morning. The spectacle of the day was five Barn & five Short-eared Owls flying around during the daylight.

Short-eared Owl

Offshore 
12 Teal west, 23 Common Scoters, 1 Long-tailed Duck south, 1 Red-breasted Merganser, 2 Goosanders west, 3 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Crested Grebe west and 4 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration
13 Wood Pigeons south-east, 1 Collared Dover south, 150 Jackdaws south, 4 Rooks south, 21 Carrion Crows south, 8 Skylarks south, 215 Starlings east/south-east, 1 Fieldfare south-east, 3 Alba Wagtails south, 5 Meadow Pipits south, 1 Rock Pipit west, 215 Chaffinch east/south-east, 12 Bramblings south-east, 41 Greenfinch south-east, 26 Goldfinch south, 2 Siskins south-east, 39 Linnets south and 2 Reed Buntings south..

Grounded Migrants 
1 Woodcock, 8 Goldcrests, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff, 30 Blackbirds, 9 Song Thrushes and 50 Redwings.

Others 
700 Pink-footed Geese, 300 Wigeons, 150 Teal, 6 Shovelers, 3 Little Egrets, 1 Great White Egret, 1 Merlin, 64 Ringed Plovers, 270 Sanderlings, 1 Purple Sandpiper, 160 Dunlins, 2 Jack Snipes, 35 Snipe, 130 Black-tailed Godwits, 280 Turnstones, 5 Short-eared Owls, 5 Barn Owls, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Cetti's Warblers and 80 Linnets.
