After heavy overnight rain a few 'fresh waders' were on the move at dawn and in the increasingly strong easterly wind Hirundines started moving along with a superb juvenile Hobby. This flew past at head height giving stunning views.

Offshore 
1 Shelduck east, 56 Common Scoters west, 42 Gannets west, 2 Great Crested Grebes west, 3 Arctic Skuas west, 245 Sandwich Terns west, 24 Common Terns west and 1 Arctic Tern west.

Visible Migration 
1 juv Hobby east, 7 Snipe east, 3 Ruff east, 1 Wood Sandpiper east, 2 Swifts east, 3 Sand Martins east, 618 Swallows east, 22 House Martins east, 1 Tree Pipit south and 1 Yellow Wagtail south.

Grounded Migrants 
6 Willow Warblers, 4 Lesser Whitethroats, 6 Whitethroats, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Goldcrest, 3 Whinchats and 12 Wheatears.

3 Shovelers, 1 Little Egret, 2 Sparrowhawks, 1 Peregrine, 128 Ringed Plovers, 70 Knot, 73 Sanderlings, 180 Dunlins, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Whimbrel, 185 Turnstones, 150 Redshanks, 2 Med. Gulls and 40 Goldfinch.
