We received some interesting ringing recoveries from the BTO today which included the following.
 
A Sedge Warbler ringed on 7th August 2014 was controlled 27 days later and 735 km south at Loire Atlantique, France on 3rd September 2014. A second Sedge Warbler ringed 10th July 213 was controlled 542 km south-southeast at Seine-Maritime, France on 1st August 2014. A third Acro in the form of a  Reed Warbler ringed 27th July 2013 was controlled 945 km south at Charente-Maritime on 6th September 2014. 
 
In addition to this we received the details of a colour ringed Black-headed Gull observed at the Obs on 6th February 2015 which was ringed at Dumpiu, Savartynas, Lithuania on 11th June 2011, some 1560 km away.
 
Offshore
34 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers east, 1 Red-throated Diver west, 1 Great Crested Grebe west, 2 Kittiwakes west and 4 Auk sp. west.

Others 
5 Goldeneyes, 1 Peregrine, 32 Ringed Plovers, 80 Sanderlings, 17 Snipe, 31 Black-tailed Godwits, 170 Turnstones, 1 Med. Gull, 4 Stock Doves, 1 Shore Lark, 2 Stonechats, 6 Rock Pipits and 1 Bullfinch.
