Bird of the day was a Tawny Owl in the Cemetery first thing. It's a rare bird here with most records from the small copses at the south end of the peninsula, so a coastal bird is unusual.

Offshore 
35 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-throated Diver west, 1 Gannet west, 1 Sandwich Tern west and 2 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
2 Jays east, 10 Skylarks south, 7 Swallows south, 2 Tree Sparrows south, 5 Grey Wagtails south, 13 Alba Wagtails south, 40 Meadow Pipits south, 23 Chaffinch south and 2 Reed Buntings south.

Grounded Migrants 
10 Goldcrests, 5 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, 4 Song Thrushes, 2 Wheatears and 1 Rock Pipit.

1,000 Pink-footed Geese, 1 Buzzard, 2 Water Rails, 67 Ringed Plovers, 63 Sanderlings, 95 Dunlins, 175 Turnstones and 1 Tawny Owl.

1 Goldcrest, 1 Blue Tit, 7 Long-tailed Tits and 1 Wren.
