Yesterday`s Siberian Chiffchaff was trapped and ringed this morning along with a collybita which gave a chance to compare them in the hand.(see photos below).

Offshore
40 Wigeon west, 4 Teal west, 25 Common Scoters west & 81 north, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 5 Red-throated Divers west and 3 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
23 Starlings south.

Grounded Migrants
1 Chiffchaff, 20 Blackbirds, 4 Song Thrushes and 7 Redwings.

Others
400 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Gadwalls, 1 Little Egret, 1 Buzzard, 1 Peregrine, 7 Moorhens, 4 Water Rails heard at dusk plus one in a coastal ditch during the morning, 27 Ringed Plovers, 64 Grey Plovers, 150 Sanderlings, 11 Snipe, 260 Turnstones, 21 Curlews, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Siberian Chiffchaff still present this morning, 1 Stonechat, 2 Grey Wagtails and 7 Rock Pipits.

Ringing
1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 1 Chiffchaff, 3 Blue Tits, 2 Great Tits, 1 Blackbird, 1 Robin, 1 Goldfinch and 4 Reed Buntings.
