The focus was again on the sea today but the morning watch was surprisingly quiet. After the rain had cleared another watch over the high tide was much better with lots of birds moving west out of the Bay, including some more Skuas.

Offshore 
63 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 16 Manx Shearwaters west, 25 Gannets west, 1 Arctic Skua east, 1 Great Skua west, 2 Kittiwakes east, 42 Sandwich Terns west,1 Common Tern east and 3 Auk sp. west.

Further observation during late morning and early adternoon produced 4 Fulmars west, 164 Manx Shearwaters west, 167 Gannets west, 16 Grey Plovers west, 5 Bar-tailed Godwits west, 1 light morph Pomarine Skua west at 13:55, 3 Arctic Skuas west, 34 Kittiwakes west, 13 Sandwich Terns west, 26 Arctic Terns west, 6 Guillemots west and 134 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
1 Swift in off & 1 north-east, 51 Swallows north, 1 Yellow Wagtail east and 2 Meadow Pipits north.

Grounded Migrants
1 brown morph female Cuckoo, 45 Swifts, 65 Swallows, 65 House Martins and 1 Wheatear.

Others:
1 Red-breasted Merganser, 1 Peregrine, 35 Ringed Plovers, 400 Knot, 180 Sanderlings, 200
Dunlins and 130 Turnstones.
