A
visiting birder reported a Hooded Crow in the west fields this afternoon. IG
managed to to
relocate the bird in the horse paddocks, but the bird was a Hooded/Carrion Crow hybrid.
The flyby Great Egret was the stand out bird of the day.

1 Great Egret flew east along the promenade this morning, 1 Gadwall, 4
Goldeneyes, 1 Little Egret, 32 Ringed Plovers, 36 Black-tailed Godwits, 175 Turnstones,
100 Knots, 60 Sanderlings, 4 Snipe and 2 Ravens.
