Meadow Pipits were on the move this morning with the largest count of the
spring so far, a total of 1042 flew north from first light but had largely dried up by
07:30. There was also a noticeable number of Chiffchaffs around today.

Siskins east and 1 Reed Bunting east.
Grounded Migrants
10 Goldcrests, 15 Chiffchaffs, 2 Blackcaps, 1 Stonechat
and 4 Wheatears.

23 Black-tailed Godwits, 130 Turnstones, 1 Spotted Redshank, 350 Redshanks, 1 Merlin, 2
Stock Doves, 3 Ravens, 4 Sand Martins and 11 Twite.
