The warm south-easterly winds in the afternoon were perfect for raptors and a couple of hours watching produced a Hobby.

Hobby

Offshore:
17 Common Scoters west, 1 Red-breasted Merganser, 3 Red-throated Divers east, 11 Gannets west, 1 Guillemot east, 11 Sandwich Terns and 3 Arctic Terns east.

207 Pink-footed Geese north, 5 Whimbrels east, 1 Sparrowhawk high north-east early afternoon, 1 Hobby north at 12:57, 12 Wood Pigeons east, 9 Jackdaws east, 1 Rook east, 6 Sand Martins north-east, 21 Swallows north-east, 5 House Martins north-east, 5 Yellow Wagtails east over the point am & 2 north over raptor watchpoint early afternoon, 21 Alba Wagtails north, 12 Tree Pipits north-east, 77 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 26 Linnets east, 23 Redpolls east, 54 Goldfinch east and 2 Siskins east.

Grounded Migrants
2 Willow Warblers, 1 Blackcap, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 5 Whitethroats, 4 Wheatears and 8 White Wagtails.

Others
1 Little Ringed Plovers, 55 Ringed Plovers, 2 Whimbrels, 14 Black-tailed Godwits, 75 Turnstones, 120 Knots, 58 Sanderlings, 150 Dunlins, 1 Common Sandpiper, 2 Snipe and 2 Stock Doves.
