South-easterly winds and rain brought a small arrival of migrants including the first Whitethroat, Grasshopper Warbler and Sedge Warbler of the spring.

Offshore 
3 Shelducks east, 66 Common Scoters west, 3 Red-breasted Mergansers, 5 Red-throated Divers east, 3 Gannets west, 1 Arctic Skua east, 11 Little Gulls east, 4 Sandwich Terns east, 1 Arctic Tern east and 2 Razorbills east.

Visible Migration 
1 Merlin east, 1 Woodpigeon in off, 1 Sand Martin north, 11 Swallows north, 30 Alba Wagtails north, 3 Tree Pipits north, 204 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 34 Goldfinch east, 15 Linnets east and 3 Redpolls east.

Grounded Migrants
5 Goldcrests, 15 Sand Martins, 25 Swallows, 5 House Martins, 1 Chiffchaff, 20 Willow Warblers, 1 Blackcap. 1 Whitethroat, 1 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 28 Wheatears, 1 Siskin and 4 Redpolls.

Others
1 Scaup, 1 Buzzard, 2,000 Knot, 73 Black-tailed Godwits and 1 Barn Owl.

Ringing 
2 Goldcrests, 1 Chiffchaff, 6 Willow Warblers and 1 Dunnock.
