A quiet day apart form a brief second year Iceland Gull. During the evening the wind eased and the sun came out, and a quick ringing session saw 15 new birds caught.

Offshore
 24 Common Scoters west, 14 Red-throated Divers east, 8 Manx Shearwaters west, 6 Gannets west, 2 Great Crested Grebes east, 2 Little Gulls west, 4 Sandwich Terns and 4 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
6 Alba Wagtails north, 14 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 61 Goldfinch east, 2 Siskins east, 4 Linnets east and 3 Redpolls east.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Common Sandpiper, 10 Swifts, 3 Goldcrests, 12 Sand Martins, 75 Swallows, 30 House Martins, a Grasshopper Warbler, 16 Willow Warblers, 4 Blackcaps, 1 Garden Warbler, 2 Whitethroats, 2 Sedge Warblers, 32 Wheatears and 12 Lesser Redpolls.

Others 
1 Wigeon, 9 Teal, 2 Gadwalls, 220 Ringed Plovers, 140 Sanderlings, 2,000 Dunlins and 1 2CY Iceland Gull.

Ringing
9 Willow Warblers, 4 Blackcaps, 1 Garden Warbler and 1 Whitethroat.
