The
recent strong easterly wind decreased overnight producing the best day of the
spring so far. There
was a push of visible migration during the morning and later in the day a few
grounded migrants were
found including a group of 8 Waxwings. Also found today were another Iceland Gull
and a new
Yellow-legged Gull.

14 Wigeon east, 2 Teal east, 75 Common Scoters, 13 Red-breasted Mergansers, 10
Red-throated
Divers east, 4 Gannets east, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 15 Kittiwakes east, 2
Sandwich Terns
east and 2 Auk sp. east. Also 2 Harbour Porpoise.
