Offshore 
1 Great Crested Grebe west, 6 Shelduck east, 21 Common Scoters west, 14 Kittiwake following ferry into the bay and 3 Auk sp east.

A further sea watch in the evening produced 1 Fulmar south, 2 Gannets south, 600 Common Scoters, 1 Kittiwake south and 1 Sandwich Tern south.

Visible Migration
2 Swallows south, 1 Alba Wagtail south and 5 Meadow Pipits south.

Grounded Migrants 
11 Wheatears, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Willow Warbler and 1 Goldcrest. A hundred Swallows, 2 Sand Martins and 35 House Martin dropped in over the pools during  heavy rain in the morning.

72 Ringed Plovers, 600 Knot, 2 Snipe, 800 Redshank, 2 Greenshank, 1 Whimbrel, 14 Black-tailed Godwits, 124 Sanderling, 320 Turnstone, 10 Teal, 2 Wigeon, 5 Pochards, 40 Tufted Ducks, 1 Little Egret, 6 Med. Gulls, 45 Linnets and 150 Goldfinch.
