Very much a 'vis' day today with clear skies and light easterly winds. A good count of 28 Grey Wagtails moving east was the highlight, plus the first Tree Sparrows and Redpoll of the Autumn. There was an arrival of Robins this morning with at least 25 on the coast with 9 ringed.

Robin

Offshore 
6 Shelducks east, 16 Common Scoters west, 1 Great Crested Grebe west and 175 Sandwich Terns.

Visible Migration
1 Little Egret east, 1 Raven south-east, 2 Sand Martins east, 126 Swallows east, 98 House Martins east, 3 Skylarks south, 28 Grey Wagtails east & 2 south, 22 Alba Wagtails east, 2 Tree Pipits south-east, 121 Meadow Pipits east & 53 south, 4 Tree Sparrows south & 1 east and 1 Redpoll east.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Goldcrest, 2 Chiffchaffs, 3 Willow Warblers, 4 Blackcaps, 3 Lesser Whitethroats, 2 Whitethroats, 1 Sedge Warbler, 25 Robins and 3 Wheatears.

Others
7 Wigeons, 1 Little Egret, 85 Lapwings, 84 Sanderlings, 53 Dunlins, 6 Black-tailed Godwits, 
1 Common Sandpiper and 4 Med. Gulls.

Ringing 
6 Meadow Pipits, 12 Blue Tits, 3 Great Tit, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Blackcap, 1 Sedge Warbler, 9 Robins, 1 Wren, 6 Dunnocks, 4 Greenfinches and 2 Goldfinches.
