After an overcast and murky start to the day the weather began to clear towards dinner time and this resulted in a nice selection of birds moving offshore including the first Arctic Skua and Common Tern of the spring.

Offshore 
19 Wigeons east, 2 Teal east, 4 Shovelers east, 5 Tufted Ducks east, 24 Common Scoters west, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 11 Red-throated Divers east, 23 Gannets west, 1,500 Knots west, 1 Arctic Skua east, 105 Kittiwakes east, 1 Common Tern east, 9 Sandwich Terns east and 1 Guillemot east. Also 2 Harbour Porpoise and 1 Atlantic Grey Seal.

22 Sand Martins east/north-east, 3 Swallows east/north-east, 2 Alba Wagtails north-east, 88 Meadow Pipits north-east, 1 Redwing northeast, 3 Goldfinch east and 10 Linnets east.

Grounded Migrants
1 Goldcrest, 5 Chiffchaffs, 3 Willow Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 3 Redwings, 2 Fieldfares, 11 Wheatears, 4 White Wagtails and 4 Siskins.

1 Peregrine, 51 Ringed Plovers, 110 Sanderlings, 18 Black-tailed Godwits and 320 Turnstones.
