There was a decent movement of Meadow Pipits first thing this morning with 702 moving north. The first Tree Pipits of the year were recorded and a fine male Redstart added a splash of colour to the day.

Offshore 
2 Shelducks east, 13 Common Scoters east, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 4 Red-throated Divers east & 1 on the sea, 2 Gannets west, 1 Little Gull east, 11 Sandwich Terns east and 2 Auk sp. east.

Visible Migration 
1 Buzzard north-east, 9 Curlews east, 51 Woodpigeons east, 9 Carrion Crows north, 4 Sand Martins north-east, 10 Swallows north, 11 Alba Wagtails north, 2 Tree Pipits north, 702 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 77 Goldfinch east, 3 Siskins east, 70 Linnets east, 12 Redpolls east and 1 Reed Bunting east.

Grounded Migrants
5 Chiffchaffs, 9 Willow Warblers, 3 Blackcaps, 1 Redstart, 4 Wheatears and 7 White Wagtails.

4 Shovelers, 44 Ringed Plovers, 68 Sanderlings and 1 Cetti's Warbler.

Ringing 
1 Meadow Pipit and 1 Linnet.
