The most surprising find of the day was a female Shoveler with young. It was found down a net ride during a ringing session and this is the first breeding record on the peninsular since 1983.

Shoveler

Offshore 
52 Common Scoters west, 5 Eiders east, 4 Gannets east, 3 Curlews west and 3 Sandwich Terns.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Yellow Wagtail.

Others
1 female Shoveler with 4 young; the first breeding record at the Obs since 1983!, 2 Little Ringed Plovers, 280 Lapwings, 11 Dunlins, 2 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Bar-tailed Godwits, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Spotted Redshank, 2 Med. Gulls, 7 Stock Doves, 60 Swifts and 1 Sand Martin.

8 Great Tits, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Whitethroat, 1 Lesser Whitethroat, 3 Blackcaps, 3 Sedge Warblers, 1 Dunnock and 2 Greenfinch.
