The highlight of the day was a single Great Egret that flew through this afternoon.

Great Egret

Offshore
7 Wigeons west, 6 Common Scoters west, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 5 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Guillemot west and 3 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration
18 Jackdaws south-east, 2 Skylarks south, 2 Alba Wagtails south, 17 Meadow Pipits south, 11 Chaffinch south-east, 4 Greenfinch south, 1 Linnet south and 7 Goldfinch south.

Grounded Migrants
5 Goldcrests, 2 Chiffchaffs, 4 Song Thrushes, 7 Redwings and 2 Wheatears.

Others
600 Pink-footed Geese, 315 Wigeons, 90 Teal, 2 Pintails, 7 Shovelers, 6 Little Egrets, 1 Great Egret - flew east along the promenade at 15:40, 500 Lapwings, 12 Golden Plovers, 67 Ringed Plovers, 130 Turnstones, 92 Sanderlings, 60 Dunlins, 1 Green Sandpiper, 1 Med. Gull and 2 Stonechats.
