A SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF was trapped and ringed this morning; it was very vocal giving
its "peep" call from an area of willows near one of the net rides before later being trapped.

57 Eiders, 75 Common Scoters, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Red-throated Divers, 
1 Great Crested Grebe and 1 Razorbill. 

Visible Migration
19 Wood Pigeons south-east, 17 Jackdaws south, 2 Skylarks south, 11 Fieldfares 
south-east, 85 Redwings south-east, 1 Meadow Pipit south, 11 Chaffinch south-east,
1 Brambling south-east and 1 Redpoll south-east.

Grounded Migrants
3 Woodcocks, 1 Long-eared Owl, 3 Goldcrests, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF,
60 Blackbirds, 8 Song Thrushes, 55 Redwings and 1 Brambling.

Others
375 Wigeons, 300 Teal, 2 Goldeneyes, 4 Little Egrets, 1 Merlin, 33 Ringed Plovers, 220 
Golden Plovers, 48 Grey Plovers, 1200 Lapwings, 600 Knot, 73 Sanderlings, 140 Dunlins,
86 Black-tailed Godwits, 8 Bar-tailed Godwits and 1 Med. Gull.

Ringing
1 Blue Tit, 2 Great Tits, 1 Coal Tit, 1 SIBERIAN CHIFFCHAFF, 2 Wrens and 5 Redwings.
