A decent seawatching day with much better visibility than the weekend. The highlights being three species of Skua, a single Leach`s Petrel and 105 Little Gulls.

Offshore
2 pale-bellied Brent Geese west, 2 Teal west, 62 Common Scoters west, 2 Red-breasted Mergansers west, 2 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Leach`s Petrel west, 3 Gannets west, 1 Shag, 3 Great Crested Grebes west, 1 juv. Pomarine Skua - harassing Gulls for about 30 minutes at midday before heading west out of the bay, 1 juv. Arctic Skua - came into the bay late afternoon then came back west 15 mins later, 1 Great Skua west, 32 Kittiwakes west, 105 Little Gulls west, 4 Guillemots west and 26 Auk sp. west.

220 Wigeons, 175 Teal, 4 Goldeneyes, 9 Red-breasted Mergansers,1 Little Egret, 1 Peregrine, 54 Ringed Plovers, 120 Golden Plovers, 800 Lapwings, 225 Sanderlings, 2 Purple Sandpipers, 200 Dunlins, 55 Black-tailed Godwits, 240 Turnstones, 1 Med. Gull and 1 Snow Bunting.
