A superb migration day with a big push of birds moving south. There
was another large movement of Pink-footed Geese with 6,694 counted, plus decent
Swallow & Meadow Pipit totals. A juv. Hobby flew east over the promenade at midday
and another early afternoon watch from the highest point at the obs produced more raptors - a single Marsh Harrier and 2 Buzzards, plus 4 Ravens.
