Heavy overnight rain dropped some migrants in this morning, the most prominent species being Wheatear with 40 counted. A warm southerly wind in the afternoon produced the Autumn's first Osprey and a push of Hirundines south.

73 Common Scoters west, 2 Gannets west, 1 Arctic Skua west, 57 Sandwich Terns and 2 Common Terns.

Visible Migration 
1 Osprey south, 4 Swifts south, 7 Sand Martins south, 551 Swallows south and 43 House Martins south.

Grounded Migrants 
3 Willow Warblers, 2 Lesser Whitethroats, 3 Whitethroats, 2 Reed Warblers, 2 Whinchats and 40 Wheatears.

1 Garganey, 7 Shovelers, 2 Little Egrets, 140 Ringed Plovers, 400 Lapwings, 65 Sanderlings, 700 Dunlins, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Common Sandpiper, 220 Turnstones, 1 Med. Gull, 1 Raven, 50 Goldfinch and 17 Linnets.

Ringing
1 Sand Martin, 62 Swallows, 1 Willow Warbler and 2 Reed Warblers.
