The Autumn's seawatching has been rather lean, but this mornings watch was rather better with some local scarcities being seen. A pair of Long-tailed Ducks, 2 Velvet Scoters and a single Great Northern Diver were recorded flying west.

Offshore:
2 pale-bellied Brent Geese west, 2 Shelducks west, 13 Wigeons west, 4 Teal west, 1 Pintail west, a pair of Long-tailed Ducks west, 110 Common Scoters west, 2 Velvet Scoters west, 9 Red-breasted Mergansers, 7 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Northern Diver west, 8 Great Crested Grebes west, 1 Guillemot west and 24 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
11 Whooper Swans south, 33 Wood Pigeons south-west, 300 Jackdaws south-west, 1 Rook south-west, 53 Starlings south-west, 1 Song Thrush south-east, 11 Redwings south-east, 14 Fieldfares south-east, 1 Meadow Pipit south, 1 Rock Pipit south-west, 27 Chaffinch south-east, 12 Greenfinch south-east and 4 Goldfinch south.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Goldcrest, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Song Thrushes and 13 Redwings.

Others:
500 Pink-footed Geese, 2 Shovelers, 4 Red-breasted Mergansers, 2 Little Egrets, 1 Peregrine, 26 Ringed Plovers, 16 Golden Plovers, 750 Lapwings, 75 Sanderlings, 1 Jack Snipe, 28 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Cetti's Warbler and 2 Stonechats.
