Another new Cetti's Warbler was found today, a vocal bird was at the tip pools, a new location for this species. A Kingfisher was trapped and ringed this morning which was only the second ever to be caught at the Obs.

23 Shelducks west, 8 Wigeons west, 34 Common Scoters west, 12 Red-breasted Mergansers, 5 Red-throated Divers west, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Guillemot and 4 Auk sp. west.

Visible Migration 
9 Redwings south and 4 Fieldfares south.

Grounded Migrants 
1 Goldcrest, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 new Cetti's Warbler and 7 Redwings.

4 Whooper Swans, 600 Pink-footed Geese, 500 Wigeons, 325 Teal, 4 Shovelers, 3 Goldeneyes, 4 Little Egrets, 2 Peregrines, 1 Merlin,  2 Water Rails, 260 Golden Plovers,1,200 Lapwings, 800 Knot, 6 Snipe, 370 Black-tailed Godwits, 2 Med. Gulls, 1 Barn Owl, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Cetti's Warblers, 4 Stonechats, 2 Grey Wagtails, 7 Rock Pipits and 17 Twites.
