The clear conditions with a changing wind direction from southeasterly to southwesterly produced the first 'real' push of visible migration for the spring.
 
Offshore
2 Scaup east, 55 Common Scoters east, 7 Red-breasted Mergansers, 21 Red-throated Divers east & 1 on the sea, 1 Gannet west, 1 Great Crested Grebe east, 69 Curlews east, 177 Kittiwakes east and 110 Lesser Black-backed Gulls east.

Visible Migration
31 Pink-footed Geese south-east, 1 Grey Heron east, 1 Snipe east, 1 Woodpigeon east, 3 Jackdaws north-east, 7 Grey Wagtails north, 34 Alba Wagtails north, 77 Meadow Pipits north, 1 Chaffinch east, 2 Greenfinch east, 1 Goldfinch east & 4 north, 2 Linnets east & 4 north, 1 Siskin north and 1 Snow Bunting east.

Others
2 Gadwall, 1 Peregrine, 600 Oystercatchers, 600 Knot, 14 Snipe, 1 Jack Snipe, 170 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 2CY Glaucous Gull, 3 Stock Doves and 12 Rock Pipits.
